    Al Omari Mosque, Beirut Central District. Originaly a Crusaders church.
    You can see the resemblance in Typology with St. John's church in Byblos.
    The minaret has been added to it.

    it will be a gr8 idea if eveyone takes pictures for churches near his/her house (outside n inside if possible)... n post them here... :-)

    Abouna Yaacoub Church (deir l amar) ... (pic taken from the net)

    had the chance to visit the church last summer ...
    pics we took for the huge cross which was built in 1932 by Abouna Yaacoub.
    p.s: had to resize the pics n crop some so that i can do the attach thingy lol
