    Default Bshareh - Ad Dimane

Diman (Arabic: ?) is a mountainous village situated in the Northern region in Lebanon, in the Bsharri District. It sits at approximately 1400 m above sea level.

Diman serves as the summer residence of the Maronite Catholic Patriarch, currently Cardinal Mar Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir.

The foundation stone for the Patriarchal residence was laid on September 28, 1899.

The site overlooks the Monastery of Deir Qannoubin, an early seat of the Patriarchate.

The imposing Church has some interesting paintings by Lebanese painter Saliba Doueihy.

Diman is also known for the "Garden of the Patriachs", located in the west end of the town, and for the ancient footpath which starts behind the parish church in Diman, and leads towards the bottom of the Kadisha Valley.
