    Ok people...couldnt help but do this...

    I can't finish this quickly enough! inno usually i am very fast but with this book it is taking too long. I am only midway through part 2!

    What's your progress like?

    I am so enjoying this book now. You just needed to get past page 20!

    Part 2 was so much more engrossing than Part 1.

    Oh and the way Fermina just dismisses Florentino! Cruel. Yet he just seems to accept it? Why Florentino??

    Starting Part 3 now and this is where we meet the young Dr Urbino.

    Finished Part 3 and Marquez has an uncanny way of writing.

    Really starting to get into the characters and the story now.

    I love the detailing throughout the story. The first night as husband and wife between Fermina and Dr Urbino is hilarious! Florentino becomes more tragic. Heck even the way he loses his virginity is pityful LOL

    Looking forward to you all catching up so we can really discuss it.

    I think everyone has been sidetracked with the elections! Post when you have finished part 3 so we can keep moving

    i feel so guilty but i have been sidetracked by sooooo many other things: this is the last week of the semester and a lot of preparation is in order. I haven't even finished part II

    it's ok though... you guys can go ahead without me. Starting next week I can move a lot faster.
