    Default Greco vs Persians

Who do you think should've won?

    And why.

What do you think our world would have looked like had the Persians won?

The Persian empire was bound to fall apart, its satrapic administration was too heavy and one could easily foresee the Persian empire's dislocation along lines similar to those established by the Diadochi.
The Persians tried ruling with tolerance and mutual understanding, history proved them wrong.
The Assyrians and the Babylonians ruled by terror, history proved them right.

Case in point: It is better to be feared than loved.

PS: That Youtube channel sucks and the guy who makes these retarded videos (John Green) is quite clueless.

@tFighterPilot; i'm interested to know why you thanked SD's post. I personally find it deeply flawed/misleading, not you?

As Bill Clinton so famously said "I feel your pain" however, let's lay the dead cat at the owners door and Gregg was gracious to give us the reason and I quote "
replies have been deleted as per the request of thread originator." that being ......lol

However, since thread theft is nothing out of the ordinary and is natural.
Should we have fairplay when the agrieved requester bends the thread....no I think not.

Ali keep posting you a good addition.
Who would claim to be that, who was not.

The request was made openly in this thread. There was no behind the door negotiation.

And what, exactly, is "flawed/misleading" about my post?

Samaritan replied referencing the wars of alex the macedonian. You replied to that.

It's all off topic since this is about the greek invasions of Persian empire in 500BC. had you noticed...

halla' first let's establish, your reply was knowing this is about 500BC ? You mentioned the Diadochi I just noticed it.

Maybe urs should've been deleted too.

And? What I said about the Persian empire's satrapic administration still counts, that much is true.
