You can see why they executed this man .

If he took up arms against the so called government, this is one thing . But by all accounts he was executed for his words , nothing more.

Never did he call for armed uprising .

This execution will start the ball rolling for the end of this Saudi clan . They are nervous , especially after the Russian intervention in Syria , they are in a quagmire in Yemen, Iran is now on speaking terms with America and the youth in Saudi no more want to live under the most oppressive regime on the face of this planet.

It's game over for them .

No, he was a marginalized Saudi who was a Shia, part of the persecuted groups that Al Saud targets.

If you watched the video, Sheikh Nimr stated he has no loyalty to Iran or Saudi Arabia, but only Allah.

He then goes onto cite the reasons why he is not loyal to Saudi Arabia and questions what is Saudi Arabia.

Nimr was a very wise man and his family is very decent.

Even during the height of the conflict, when the Saudi regime was massacaring innocent Shia protesters, Sheikh Nimr proclaimed only a peaceful uprising, that it was better to die with honor then to live persecuted and marginalized. Unlike the Saudi Sheikhs, he did not advocate for terrorism or bloodshed, even against his enemies. In his demise, his brother Mohammad has said he hopes only peaceful demonstrations occur, again, unlike the other side who are bloodthirsty savages no matter what the occasion.

Al Saud regime is the most dispicable regime the world has ever saw, doing the sickest most heinous crimes that mankind has ever witnessed, spreading their barbaric beliefs to all Islamic nations (as Nimr said- like Taliban, Al Qaida, Al Shabab, Boko Haram, Abu Sayyaf, all Saudi trash)

Anyways, I was a big fan of Ayatollah Nimr since he started making the news.

Very outspoken, courageous, and everything he says is absolutely true.

Al Saud maggets have every reason to fear people like Sheikh Nimr, the civilized world is with the Nimr family tonight.

But you cannot even compare Nasrallah to Sheikh Nimr, they preached different philosophies.

I have seen the earlier videos of Nasrallah and he always was close to a gun, always angry and openly loyal to the Iranian cause.

Nimr has openly said that he was not loyal to Iran or the Iranian cause. Because he is a Shia who studied Islam in Iran, that makes him an Iranian agent? Then what is a Muslim who studied Islam in Saudi Arabia?

There isn't much to debate with you if you don't recognize that Saudi Arabia just beheaded 3 peaceful Shia activists who advocated for equal rights in their own country- two of whom were minors at the time of their arrest. One more, another activist, Ali al Nimr who has been sentenced to be crucified by the Saudis. Then you have freedom reformers, free thinkers, such as Raif Baddawi who have been lashed in public and banished to prison for decades, or human rights lawyers who are in jail for 22-years for the defense of innocent men, or poor Hamza Kashgari who the Saudis almost lynched in public for leaving a tweeter. Or all the women drivers facing terrorism charges for driving?

Saudi Arabia's government and Wahabi institution are truly despicable. If you don't recognize that now, you never will.

If Ayotolah Nimr is not pro Iranian then why is the khoumeini republic mad, they do not respect human rights in Iran and yet they are mad because Ayotollah was executed.hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Iran executed all pro democracy leaders and thinkers and writers and they are trying to teach us about freedom...are you crazy?
Nimr is not pro Iranian and his official name is Ayotollah Nimr that is what he is known by...he is a khoumeini agent committing civil strife at first when weak, and then as he gets stronger and armed he will become another Hassan Nasrallah or Moqtada Sadr or the other Yemenese ass hole...
Nasrallah has a gun now that is why he says freely his khoumeini sectarian rhetoric.
Iran will not be the alternative to Saudi Arabia, the best experience was Hassaouna executing Gebran Tweini, Pierre Gemayel, Rafiq Harriri, and many many more, why i do not see you advocate for these free thinker, unless you do not think of them as victim for now you are a khoumeini ayotollah thinker...
