Default Palestinian band fumes at Netanyahu’s ad

By Staff writer | Al Arabiya News
    Monday, 16 February 2015

A Palestinian rap band has threatened to take legal action against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's right-wing Likud party for releasing a campaign ad in which their song is associated with the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS).

“In the last propaganda video released by the Israeli Likud Party which is headed by the criminal Benjamin Netanyahu (Zionist right-wing), the song called 'Ghorbah' by Torabyeh has been used,” the Amman-based group called Torabyeh wrote on its Facebook page.

We reject “all forms of cooperation with the Zionist enemy”, and pledge to “take all necessary legal action against those responsible.”

Definitely, as long as Zionist behavior is concerned you don't see any problem.

Funny you mentioned it, it is rumored that Soviets made their own "March of Aviators" - "Higher, and higher, and higher ..." based on this nazi song and no royalties were paid.

BTW, if Bibi properly references the owner of the song in his commercial, then no international copyright law is broken.

Worst comes to worst, Natanyahu campaign might end up paying relatively small restitution, but by that time use of the music will have achieved its goal.

Experience of dealing with Palestinians tells me that there may be no case at all and you and your kind only complain whenever "Zionist behavior is concerned".

Some things never change, Thieves will always be thieves and Zionists are the biggest thieves: Thieves of land, Thieves of culture, Thieves of history.

Do the terrorRapers have their ASCAP,BMI or SESAC membership paid up, otherwise I doubt there is a royalty issue here.
Maybe they can do some music for those new salacious vids that are coming from Libya, Syria, Iraq and wherever the disease has infected.
Who would claim to be that, who was not.

Perhaps they'll credit the PA electricity bill a shekel or two during the run.
