Well, I understand what you are saying but I've never been to Lebanon and I've never seen where this family began, Maghdouche. All that was left, here, when my grandfather passed were a few letters in Arabic that a friend translated for me. It seems my grandfather and his cousin did not speak much of their home as very little other history was passed down.
In a way those letters brought him home through these machines and it brought his family home. Even with all the trouble there, I wish I was there instead of here.
